Privacy Policy
Effective Date:June 16, 2026
Last Update: June 16, 2026

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how The Telepathy Tapes, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit thetelepathytapes.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. For California residents, this Privacy Policy also serves as our Notice at Collection.
2. Scope
This Policy applies only to the Site. It does not apply to the podcast as distributed on third-party platforms (such as Apple Podcasts or Spotify), or to any third-party websites or services we link to — including donation, merchandise, and membership platforms — each of which has its own privacy policy. See Section 7.
3. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
If you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. Form submissions are delivered to our email inbox and stored in our website platform (Webflow).
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your device and browser type, general location (such as region or city), pages viewed, referring source, and similar usage data. See Section 4 for details on cookies.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, which fall into the following categories:
Managing your preferences. We use a consent management tool (CookieYes) to let you accept or decline non-essential cookies. The banner applies the appropriate experience based on your location — an opt-in choice for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, and a notice with the ability to opt out for visitors in the United States. You can change your preferences at any time through the cookie settings link on the Site. A full, current list of cookies is available in the Site’s cookie settings.
Embedded podcast player (Art19). Our audioplayer is custom-built and runs on the Site. Audio files are delivered through Art19, our third-party podcast host, and the audio file links include ad measurement and attribution tracking provided by Magellan AI, which may set a cookie used for analytics and dynamic advertisement insertion. Art19 and Magellan AI are third-party data processors. The player loads audio only when you press play. For visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, audio and its associated tracking are blocked until you provide consent; for visitors in the United States, they load by default and can be disabled by exercising your opt-out choice. Episodes also remain available on external podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your messages and inquiries submitted through the contact form;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- Understand site usage in aggregate through analytics; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers. We use third-party providers to operate the Site, who process information on our behalf: Webflow (website hosting and form submissions), Google Analytics (aggregate analytics), Cloudflare (security), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection), Art19 (podcast audio hosting), and Magellan AI (admeasurement and attribution loaded with the podcast audio).
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site links out to third-party services that operate independently and under their ownprivacy policies and terms, including the donation platform (PayPal), and any merchandise or membership services we link to. The Site also includes an informational page about TTT Education & Impact, a separate non profit organization, with a link to that organization’s own website, where grant applications and related submissions are handled under its own privacy practices. When you follow any of these links and provide information directly to those services, this Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
All visitors
You can decline non-essential cookies through the cookie settings, opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on, and contact us to ask about the information we hold.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Subject to applicable law, California residents may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, the podcast ad-measurement and attribution cookie described in Section 4 may involve the “sharing” of online identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the Site footer, and we honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out. To exercise your other rights, contact us at the address in Section 14. To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before fulfilling your request, typically by asking you to confirm the email address associated with your inquiry. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, provided they submit sufficient proof of their authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
EEA / UK visitors (GDPR)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Our legal bases are your consent (for non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (in operating and securing the Site), and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Data Retention
We strictly limit the retention of your personal data to the minimum period necessary to fulfill the operational purposes detailed in this policy. Specifically:
Contact-Form Inquiries: Personal data submitted through our website contact forms is retained for as long as necessary to fully address your inquiry, maintain an ongoing business relationship, or preserve our standard corporate email archives for historical reference purposes.
Analytics and Usage Data: Raw, user-level, and event-level data collected via Google Analytics 4 (which includes identifiers tied to cookies) is automatically purged from Google’s servers after a rolling period of 14 months, in accordance with our system configurations.
We will only retain your information for a longer duration if required to comply with binding legal, regulatory, or tax obligations, to resolve formal disputes, or to enforce our corporate legal agreements.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States, and information we collect is processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date”above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
